Elaine Su-Hui Chew
Elaine Su-Hui Chew works primarily with paper, utilizing prints, papercuts and collage to explore the connection between the physical world and the transcendental. Delving into themes of superstition, idealism, happiness and place, Elaine draws on the sensuality of the physical world and the enigmatic and intangible aspects of daily life, to reflect the multiple ways humans translate the world around us in order to better understand ourselves. She currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
